Two former local shops, Creative Quilting and Quilting Connection, merged their efforts last October into the new Creative Quilting Connection. Their full service quilt shop is located at 4903 Starkey Road, Suite 200-A, Roanoke, VA. The two owners, Judy McWhorter and Jill Setchel, have made the shop into an attractive and inviting place to shop for all your quilting needs. They carry many patterns and notions. There are quilt samples galore on display and an area where classes are held ranging from hand embroidery instruction to paper piecing, to pieced projects, to machine quilting and more.
