Kathy Wickham brought the meeting to order. She said that Kathy Woods was unable to attend due to an illness in the family. She asked that anyone who had completed the first row of the 2015 Mystery Row Quilt to come forward and display them. She then introduced the next row (not necessarily in the order in which they are to be added to the quilt) and passed out instruction sheets while Victoria Person showed her completed Turnstile row. See nearby instructions for Row 2. Show & Tell was next and quite a few members displayed their beautiful projects.

The meeting then turned to the project of the evening, which was making flannel baby quilts for the NICU unit at Carilion Hospital. Members generously brought many pieces of flannel and there were 5 sewers, several helpers and many cutters. One quilt was completed and turned in while several others were taken home to be completed and brought back.

Everything wrapped up at 8:30 and chairs and tables were returned to their locations and Kathy Wickham vacuumed the floor, hoping to pick up some of the quilting by-products (loose threads) and leave the meeting room in a neat condition.
