BRQ Meeting Dec 14, 2021

It was the Blue Ridge Quilters meeting before Christmas and all through the place,
a number of quilters were arriving, parking the cars they were driving.
The break room was giving a scent of yummy treats, as each quilter added goodies before taking a seat.
The meeting was opened and matters discussed. Show & Tell displayed the beautiful quilts over which the quilters had fussed.
It was time to see all the pillowcases they all had made, and a whopping total of 62 were displayed.
In addition, there were 20 Scent Babies, 5 NICU blankets and 8 quilts for foster kids. It takes a heart full of love and hard work to accomplish all that.
Blue Ridge Quilters said, it’s Christmas party time and they headed for the yummies while moving in line.
While goodies were eaten, games were played and laughter was free, answers were shared and prizes given with glee.
Soon it was time to say goodnight to all and to all a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Note: For the next 2 or 3 months, Blue Ridge Quilters meetings will be held in this location. Be sure to check the monthly newsletter for any updates or changes. Hoping to see you all in January!

Have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

PS – NOTE: In case of inclement weather, we will follow the closing schedule of Virginia Western Community College Evening/Night classes.
